Welcome to Sand Mountain! We are thrilled to introduce new Co-Directors, Megan and Steven Barber, along with their daughter, Gwenivere. With a diverse background from farming to missions and outreach, they bring a wealth of experience to the Upper Sand Mountain Parish. Already active in our community as pastors at Section UMC and Dutton UMC, they look forward to meeting you at the Ministry Center—be sure to stop by and say hello!

Meet Krist, who began her journey with USMP in 2007 as a volunteer quickly became an integral part of the team. Hired as the executive assistant in 2010, she also earned her B.S. in Human Resource Management that same. After gaining valuable experience as an HR supervisor elsewhere, Kristi returned in 2015,ing her commitment to the parish. With nearly 20 years at USMP, she feels a profound connection to the community and views her work as a calling to serve the people of Sand Mountain.

 Meet Gleydi, our dedicated Office Manager at Upper Sand Mountain Parish. A proud Mexican and bilingual mother of two, Gleydi began journey with us in December 2020. Starting as a part-time cashier at our Rainsville store, she quickly advanced to full-time and exceeded expectations in various roles, eventually becoming the Warehouse Team Lead. After a brief hiatus, she returned to USMP, where she now helps manage our thrift stores and passionately assists our Spanish-speaking customers in accessing emergency services.

Introducing Kayla! We're thrilled to have her on our team! Shortly after COVID began, she came to us with an amazing depth of knowledge in taxes and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Her dedication shone through, and quickly advanced into store management roles. Now, she's cross-training with USMP Finance and is excited to take on the role of Operations Manager for all three of our retail thrift stores!
